I
am in full agreement with Shri Subir Mazmder when he deplores the
lack of initiative by people in management of LIC in solving even
petty issues like payment of pension on 1st of every month.
What is
more,they do not push forward on demands over which they are
convinced of the justification.The issue of extending the benefits of
MC Jain's case to all 92-93 retirees is a standing example
.When I was
the gen.secy of the Retd class1 federation the present chairman who
was the ED(P) had repeatedly expressed to me that was convinced of
our demand on 92-93 . When I reminded him after he took over he did
not even acknowledge my greetings to him!!
I
feel it is high time that all organizations of both in- service and
retired, should demand that top management should comprise of
outsiders though we were all opposed to it earlier
