GIST OF TALK with MD 5 September 2019 : R.B.KISHORE Patron ,AIRIEF

1)I was trying to talk to MD Sri TCSuseel Kumar last 2/3 days many times.Top Mgt is very busy with Meetings & Celebrations for LIC Insurance Week.Yet I went on trying.Yesterday it was to click as per PA info to me ,But did not as heavy rains lashed Mumbai PA sympathised with me & said 1030am certainly on 5th Sep

2)So I tried MD & could secure contact at 1040am today

 I told him I didnt want to disturb him soon as I spoke for 20 mts few days before & these matters take time but he had promised then positive intervention at desired quarters.

3)I told him about disappointment of 

Pension credit not taking place on 1st Sep

.some DOs/ZOs credit took place on 2nd around 1 pm afternoon ie Ganesh Chathurthi festival.

Other DOs/ZOs got Bank credit on 3rd ,many & Few others only on 4th Sep 2019

   MD confirmed that they were determined to resolve & from Nov 2019,

this problem will disappear as Steps are being taken to ENSURE that even if 1st or later days are Holidays, Yet, pension credit by Banks will be done to respective Bank Accounts of Pensioners on 1st positively & invariably.

OS Depts will rise to the occasion as now they know the Urgency & 

RBI also is introducing rules of credit thro NEFT round the clock on 1st every month

 to avoid disappointment  to many ,including Pensioners

The question of credit on last working day of earlier Month as for Employees cannot be done, as Pension,as per rules only on 1st of Next month

4)MD, of his own added, remembering my earlier requests to him on some     VITAL ISSUES , 29/8/2019,that 

remedy to avoid 

anamolies in pension due to promotion during intervening period of 2 wage revisions, will be resolved soon

& anxiety on this score need not be there hereafter,They are seized of the matter, solutions are ready & we will know sooner

5)MD also assured that 

Top Mgt is anxious to ensure revision of Family Pension to 30 % of Basic Pay as in Govt & RBI.

That will help a lot Family Pensioners ,as

 FP is very low in LIC

     I also reminded MD that this time Mediclaim talks must be more indepth as 2019-20 was ditto 2018-19 & further,

 the desire & choice of FPensioner already who cannot afford to pay earlier High premium ,to accept FP OSA Optional Sum Assured,without disturbing CSA-Compulsory SA will be gone through.

6)I pleaded with him by reminding that the

INJUSTICE done to pre-8/1997 pensioners ,whereby when LIC complied with Hon Justice Dipak Misras Orders dt 29/3/2016 to pay Interim Relief ,LIC  would have digested that Orders & then only paid in 5/2016 the arrears payment.

Further after Delhi HC Judgement in 7/2017,when to earmarked Basic Pension ranges only, a miserly revision of DR was done by Hon Justice Khanna, that payment to miniscule pensioners was paid 

.But LIC instead of EARLIEST Judgement of 6676/1998 , took into account only 654/2007,Jaipur, & paid arrears DEDUCTING the IR already paid.

    I pathetically insisted that IR never is deducted anywhere, once paid to poor pensioners,which normally courts propound & practise,31/3/2016 Orders of Hon Dipak Misras & also DHC Verdict never wanted any adjustment of IR once paid

.So I appealed to MD to reconsider & restore that amount WRONGLY deducted unnecessarily from arrears paid

He said he will certainly look into the matter

I added that worthy Chairman expressed implicit approval when we met here  & so the matter can be looked into & remedied for a just cause.He promised he will address to this deficiency
