Dear Friends,
One more
shocking news. Today’s Hindu carried a news item in the “Death and Remembrance
column”, page 4, the passing away of one of our sincere members Shri T.E.Sreedharan, at the age of 79. He fell
from a stool in his house, had an injury in the head and was in the hospital
for about a week before his death yesterday morning, on the day of Ekadasi and cremated today, Dwadasi. According to the Sanadhana dharma,
very few people have that fortune, though is a loss for the family and to us
the Retd. LICians. I visited his house today and met his wife to offer our
condolences, and pay our homage, to the
departed soul. May his soul rest in
peace.

President Shri G N Sridharan writes:
I am
extremely shocked to know that shri TE Sreedharan passed away yesterday (9/9/19).He
was one of the silent workers who immensely helped me during the formative days
of our Chennai Association.
A soft spoken person and affable in nature
he was loved by one and all.He also served as the Jt. secretary of the Chennai
Assn in the past.I am personally
indebted to him for quietly helping me whenever I needed it in running our
association .
His passing away is an irreparable loss and I pray for his
soul to rest in peace.

Our Federation
General Secretary Shri D.krishnan:
Shri GNS sab!
It was a shocker for me to know
through the Hindu this morning that Sri T E Sreedharan passed away. He worked
with me when I was in the HR dept in 12th Floor of ZO. He was an extremely
sincere person and passionately committed to work. He was in charge of the
Hindi portfolio and used to arrange for meetings systematically. Even after we
moved away at work, he remained a good friend. Every time we met in the AGM of
Chennai Assn., he would make it a point to come to me and have a few words
reminiscent of our old working days together. In his passing away I have lost a
very good personal friend. My sincere condolences to the Sreedharan family.
Ours
is no doubt a passing out parade, and at any point in time, some one of us or
the other, would have passed out of the Frame of current reference...
