LET THE SLEEPING DOG LIE ...! WRITES GNS

I have been repeatedly been expressing the view that whether we like it or not nothing will happen to us until the bank negotiations on wage revision gets over and following that the (bank) pensioners' issues are taken up.

 At the cost of facing criticism I still strongly advocate that at this crucial juncture it will be only wise for all LIC pensioners' organisations to adopt a policy of 'let the sleeping dog lie' in regard to the pending case in the SC.

lie means one thing as a verb and another as a noun.

With the govt facing a slow down  situation on the economic front we can certainly expect that the govt. may after all NOT take an antagonistic stance against the banking workforce for too long 

.What is required of us is only to wait and watch during the period of coming one month are so.

           It is gratifying that some of our leaders seem to feel the same way as I have been conveying for quite some time.

Let us hope for the best and at the earliest!!
