 is again a sad news to convey.Shri R Vanchinathan one of the oldest members of our
 Chennai Association expired on 2/3/2019 afternoon after a brief period of hospitalisation. 
Shri Vanchinathan affectionately known to all as 'Vanchi' had retired from zonal office
 as Executive Engineer (Electrical).Though he belonged to the specialist category he
 endeared himself to all generalist officers in LIC by his affable and and genial nature
.His wife had passed away only three months back.He leaves behind a son and a daughter
 besides a host of friends to mourn his loss.
I called on his son Shri Sethu today and conveyed condolences both on my behalf and 
and on behalf of all our members.
May his soul rest in peace!

    Vanchi is a good friend of me. I have played with him Cricket. We were in the same floor of LIC Bldgs. It is a great loss to all our friends. May his soul rest in peace. A.S.Ramanathan
