TT Srinivasamurthy of Chennai is no more. GNS condoles . May his soul rest in peace.

                      I got a short while ago the sad news of the demise of Shri. TT Srinivasmurthy this afternoon (1/7) at Chennai.

 

                       Known to everyone in LIC circles popularly as TTS he was the son of a prominent physician of yesteryears at chennai Dr. TS Thirumurthy . His son is an IFS officer now with External Affairs ministry.

                      Shri TTS was indeed a pioneer in organising the retired officers of LIC. As all of us know , even before our Federation took shape in 2000, retired officers' assns.were functioning only at Mumbai and Chennai and TTS was an activist in that erstwhile Association. Apart from being a devoted member of our present association at chennai, he was one of the founders and past President of the 'Probus club of Chennai' sponsored by Rotary club exclusively to serve the causes of Senior citizens. Through the probus club he was doing a lot of social service even as an octogenarian. 

                   A pleasant person always dressed immaculately, he would instantly get endeared to anyone coming into contact with him.

                  Let us all pray for his soul to rest in peace.
