The passing away Dr.(Mrs)Padma Sudarsan on 16 th March 2020 following a brain haemmorage removes from our midst an ardent member of our Association .She never used to miss any of our annual gatherings.
Smt.Padma was indeed a standing example to prove that it is not necessary for senior citizens to write themselves off merely on grounds of advancing age.
She was past 75 when she got a doctorate from Madras University on Vaishnavite Philosophy. She was deeply interested in carnatic music and was involved in the formation of 'Ragasudha' one of the music sabhas in the city .Post retirement she had devoted her entiretime in pursuit of devotional and cultural activities .She leaves behind two sons to mourn her loss.
We pray to the Almighty to rest her soul in peace and may her tribe increase -
