Reg: 92-93 case at Ernakulam
Our case came up at 12-30, today and at once the LIC advocate asked for adjournment. Our advocate tried to tell the judge that the petitioners are all old people of 84 or over. However, the judge adjourned the hearing to 10th June 2019.
Yesterday, we had detailed discussions with the advocate on argument points and could observe that the advocate had a good grip over the facts in our case.
Earlier I met our Chairman who had visited Ernakulam for an Ace Agents’ Convention (CLIA) and discussed this case and urged on him to take a decisive stand to rid the aging members of their agony. He promised to look into it on his return.
I am also very glad to report that our Delhi Association had their AGM on the 19th of May with Elections too taking place .Our Veteran Sri V K Jain continues to be President. Our best wishes to the new team.
