I would like to inform all readers (LIC pensioners) of your blog that I utilised the lockdown period to compile a Hand book to serve as a reference material with the help of Shri CT Joshi a retired officer of the Belagavi Division.The topics arrayed in the book are as follows.

1) A brief write up on the introduction of Pension scheme in LIC exactly 25 years back

2) Text of Pension rules with updated amendments.

3) Regular pension and Family pension with conditions of eligibility ,model calculations etc.

4) Dearness relief to Pensioners

5) Mediclaim details 

6) Ex_ gratia pensions to pre 86 retirees and their families.

7)Snippets on some frige benefits/ concessions

8) Group life cover' for retirees from 2018

9) Details of wage revisions from 1956 for ALL classes of employees of LIc.

I had sent a pre-publication version (Xerox) to selected leaders/ workers for the cause of of Pensioners and following their postive response arrangements are being made to bring out the book in print.
