Re:- Group Mediclaim Scheme: Option for increased cover and inclusion of independent children under Group Mediclaim Scheme 

This is further to our circular no. CO/Per/ER-A/286/2022 dated 08.03.2022 wherein employees/retired employees/spouse of deceased employee or retired employee have been provided option for increased total family floater coverage and one more option to employees/retired employees to include their independent children under Group Mediclaim Policy w.e.f. 01.04.2022. Cover to independent children shall cease on attending age 45 years last birthday or on death of both parents covered under the policy whichever is earlier. Last date for exercising the option was 25.03.2022. 

It has been decided to extend the date for submission of the option form to the respective offices as 31st March 2022. No further extension would be allowed. This may be brought to the notice of all concerned.
