RETIRED LIC CLASS I OFFICERS’ ASSOCIATION – CHENNAI (Affiliated to Federation of Retd. Class I Officers’ Associations)
01-02-2022 Friends, Today morning the message that Shri C.S.Vasan one of our dedicated and sincere members, passed away at a hospital in Vellore, today morning by 5-30 a.m., came as a shock. The cremation takes place at his village. He was nearing 82. Though he was living in Anna Nagar for many years during the last about six months he shifted to his village Paranji, near Arakonam. talked to him over phone about four months back. He attended our last AGM on 5-05-2019 at Royapettah IOA building. He was a very honest and straightforward man. We pray for the soul to attain Moksha. Om shanthi! SECRETARY.
Condolence message of Shri K.Sridhar, President As the month of January drew to a close last night, today morning being 1st of February we received a disturbing news in the form of the demise of one of our veterans C S VASAN at his native place near Arokonam.
.Late CS Vasan was a direct recruit AAO of 1966 batch and I know him personally since 1970. An intelligent and hardworking officer he specialised in legal related matters .His contribution to our association is immense and he was an expert in interpreting complicated circulars and see how best the officers community can benefit. We have lost a dedicated soldier. May his soul rest in peace. Om.Shanthi K.Sridhar President
