Friends,
Sorry
once again it is the same story of Adjournment, and this time
to 19th Feb. 2020.
Shri
Asthana had circulated a request to Court for Adjournment due
to personal ill health reasons. Since this was not served on
all other respondents it was incumbent on the Bench to allow
it.
Actually
submissions before the Bench started, when Counsel Sri Nidesh
Gupta, said that he was fully prepared to proceed though there
was an adjournment request from one of the petitioners. Our
Counsel also joined in to say the implementation of the DHC
Order was not complete. LIC counsel undertook to file a status
report on implementation very shortly. The Court Allowed it.
Before
proceeding further, the UOI advocate reminded the Bench about
the adjournment notice not having been served. The Bench then
adjourned the Hearing and posted it for 19th Feb.
This
in short is what took place in Court no 14 of the SC today.
