Sad News of Demiseof Shri S.N.Sundaresan Retd ED... CONDOLENCES FROM GNS

The sad news of the demise of Shri SN Sundaresan (87)on 21/8 has been conveyed to us rather late.Even before his retirement in the cadre of ED he had made coimbatore his home town.He was a member of our coimbatore Assn.and respected by all members.
          I recall the days (early eighties) I spent in the Kozhikode DO as ADM when Shri Sundaresan was the Sr.DM.Though we could not see eye to eye on many office related matters I always had an admiration for his argumentative capacity and the force with which he would articulate his points.We of course had a common matter of interest viz classical Carnatic music of which he was a connoisseur.Many of the top musicians were his personal friends.

I knew he was ailing for sometime but he seems to have suddenly met with his end.

Our heartfelt condolences to his family. May his soul rest in peace!!-GN Sridharan
