Friends,
It is indeed painful that of late we are compelled to report the demise of some one or the other amongst our erstwhile colleagues' passing away at frequent intervals. We will be in a dilemma, when we hear such news, whether to report such unfortunate happenings. However, as we feel that our friends should know about their ex-colleagues, we are, with excruciating feelings, report these messages, as we can do nothing about these. God's will.
The latest is that of Shri J Rajagopalan ,one of our oldest members, at the age of 85 (nearing) at Bangalore.
He retired on 31-08-1993, as ADM (P & IR) in Salem Division. He settled down at Thanjavur when he enrolled himself as a member of Chennai Assn. He was in indifferent health for the last few years and was staying with his daughter at Bengaluru where he expired on Saturday 6/6/2020.
A simple person with an extremely affable temperament,he had endeared himself to many of us.
We offer our heartfelt condolences to his wife and daughter in their hour of bereavement.
