Former Chairman MG Diwan no more. Patron G N Sridharan condoles.

Very tragic loss. He was always simple candid and affectionate. Always attended the annual GB meetings of Mumbai Association along with Shri Salunkhe Sahib. May his noble soul rest in peace. My heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and friends

I have been informed by our senior & veteran activist at Mumbai Shri U J Nerurkar that Shri MG Diwan (former chairman)passed away early this morning (27/12)

           I have had a number of opportunities in discussing the problems of class 1 officers both in service and retirement and what struck me most was that he was candid about his views. Another admirable trait in him was his informality while any one known to him talks to him on any matter.I am able to recall how he emotionally talked to me when there were misgivings on the report he submitted as an actuary before the pension scheme was introduced to us.He was a member of our (retd.officers) Association attending the gen.body meetings regularly

           His demise is indeed saddening to all of us .
