An extremely sad news was in store for me this morning when it was conveyed to me that one of our Sr.members smt GR Vijayalakshmi passed away yesterday (13/10/2018).           'GRV' as she was popularly known was a bold lady with strong convictions and would always forcefully put forth her arguments be it with her colleagues or her superiors. A devoted member of our Chennai Assn she had ,as reported by our Secy Shri VR Krishnan, sent her cheque for RS 3500/ as her contribution for legal fund just on the previous day of her demise    We have indeed lost a valuable bold and affectionate sister. May her soul rest in peace!! GN Sridharan

Ecircular DK-44                                                                                       11 th Oct. 2018    Friends, Sub: Today’s hearing in the supreme court The much awaited Oct 11th,  in SC has virtually drawn a blank! At 11 am I received a call from Sri G N  Sridharan to say the Hearing on our case, for the day, was over! LIC's Compliance Report on the Arrears Payment, had itself owned up some lack of completeness and sought 8 week's time to complete it. Since in today's Hearing the merits ,on the defects in Arrears Payment, was not gone into, I am afraid, even in the next Hearing, the SC may have to adjudicate on complaints from our side vis-a-vis the ones LIC has owned up and processed on i...
