RESOLUTION. This meeting earnestly appeals to all retirees/Pensioners 'to appreciate that taking recourse to litigation endlessly will not solve all our genuine problems and consequently, with the Judicial System in our country being what it is, placing high expectation on the outcome of the pending case in Supreme Court is unwarranted. Our Apex body viz., Federation of retired LIC class - I officers Association deserves our full complements for having already achieved a fair measure of success in the matter of DR anomaly, , much to the surprise and envy of our brethren even in the Banking sector, who are irretrievably placed with a negative verdict from the Supreme Court, making them wait for' the mercy of 113A and Government. to retrieve-them out of the situation, J t should therefore be realized that the main and larger issue of up-gradation is the only remaining one which concerns the entire pensioners' community a

Ecircular No.DK/65                                                              7-05-2019 Friends,           I have, in the course of the last 5 days, attended the AGMs of 4 Associations, viz., Ernakulam, Trissur, Thiruvananthapuram and Chennai in that order. Predictably, the question uppermost was, why our Court matters are dragging, taking with it, critical time that is most valuable to us, retirees. I had to mention that Courts have been dealing more with urgent Political Cases brought up around the elections. In our matter, one of the two judges on the Bench, retired and there is need for a fresh Bench to be constituted, before the Case can be taken forward. I also mentioned that incidentally, there have been major, tectonic-like movements, which give positive indications that may point to our reaching the desired goal, even outside  the Court.
