G N S clarifies.

As one who had been given the main responsibility of steering our litigation in the SC I feel it necessary to give the following details in addition to what I had reported from Delhi to the Gen.Secy on 30/7                   I was in the court hall and had  the advantage of sitting in the second row on account of the privilege of being an advocate. When the matter was called for on both occasions of the day no senior counsel except the one engaged by us (viz. Fedn. of retired class 1 officers Assns) was present on behalf of the appealing parties. On the second occasion when there was some serious discussion at the end of which the presiding judge had actually returned the papers to the court officer to note the adjourned date.It was at this point our Sr.counsel stood up again and forcibly pleaded for at least an order being passed as an interim relief. The Bench obliged and the interim order came to be passed. In terms of the same LIC is obliged to comply withe Delhi HC order in toto

Mana vyala Kim ? Why you get sad ! My mind !

ana From somewhere one old friend of mine from Thanjavur celled me to say: "Sury ! I am worried. That the mind of those who matter are drawn more towards pre-97 people rather than doing justice to the entire pensioners' community on grounds of DISCRIMINATION alone …. I am really worried. I replied: Don't worry. (Lord) Krishna will do justice and equity to  everyone.. I assured.

TOTAL LUNAR ECLIPSE IS STILL THERE ? BUT A SPRING OF HOPE SURGES ....

it is a bit disappointing......................D K

It is a bit disappointing that the rest of the issues on our SLP have been held over for a later date after 2 months. However, we are happy for those pre-97 retirees who will be getting their long awaited dues shortly. They may have to come to the assistance of the Federation, in terms of Contributions, if we are to proceed on the rest of the case as we planned to, which will definitely benefit the entire pensioners community. We shall certainly take a view of the position and come back with definite decisions. With greetings D. Krishnan (Gen. Secretary), CHENNAI.
