Seeing God in Everything | Swami Sarvapriyananda

What are the differences between the schools of Vedanta? —Swami Sarvapriyananda.

Perhaps in lighter vein if I suggest that there is only one demand of all of us, pensioners, and that, is , as we all know is UPDATION. But, one sees clearly,(!) how one single demand is projected differently by different Associations by the Associations who are fighting for it at the Supreme Court.  S o appears BRAHMA  SUTRAS. VEDHANTHIC PART. THERE ARE AT LEAST THREE MAJOR SCHOOLS OF PHILOSOPHY  NAMELY ADVAITHA, (NON DUALISTIC) , THE VISHISTADWAITA (QUALIFIED NON DUALISTIC) AND DWAITHA.(DUALISTIC) . THE PROPONENTS OF THESE MAJOR SCHOOLS ARE SANKARACHARYA, RAMANUJACHARYA AND MADHVACHARYA.  WHERE DO THEY DIFFER IN THEIR INTERPRETATION OF BRAHMA SUTRAS IS PRECISELY DEFINED BY SWAMI SARVAPRIYANANDA HERE: LISTEN INTELTY.

From where , one gets negative thoughts that lead to negative actions? Law of Karma ? Sanskaaras (Tendencies) latent in the sub conscious mind !!

Escaping the Forest of Samsara --- Role of Guru

We are all subject to getting lost in the tremendous complexity of daily life, and this can prevent us from appreciating the true source of peace and contentment within us. A proper guru can lead us out of this "forest of struggle and suffering" and teach us how to never again get lost. *************************************************************

G N S on Elections ........(Any message other than on Elections !!! ??? Editor scratches his head !!)

Today was the polling day in my state (TN) and I voted early at 9 AM .It will be interesting to know what weighed with LIC pensioners while exercising their franchise on different parts of the country. On my part,I took the following facts in deciding on whom to vote for. Since independence one particular group or combinations have ruled for 65 years which is now fiercely fighting another with hardly five years in office. Anti incumbency  perhaps might be good for private organisations but running a   govt.is   different. The five-year wallahs have not after all badly fared either .Why then should there be a change?                I hope that there will be some exchange of views on this through your blog ---GN Sridharan
