"Jeevan Saakshya" Registration"
Jeevan Saakshya is a mobile app developed by LIC
for our existence certificate to be submitted
to our ZO/DO - OS Departments.
It is available from 1-08-2021.
it is to a large extent user friendly.
We have to register with our mobile number /email id.
We have to keep the following ready with us,
with the smartphone for registration.
a. Our AAdhar card.
b. Our pension file number.
c. Ready to have a snap captured. ( In the final certificate
generated both our photos in the AAdhar and the selfie
captured on the day of the certificate are available
to see side by side.
d. A pen and a paper to note down the OTP.
e. Make your own a 4 digit MPIN no. to be remembered,
to open the app later.
what we should do?
A. Down load the app from the Play store of your phone.
B.Install it.
C.As you register it will ask for your 9 digit pension file
number. ( It will ask for policy number but for us
it is Our pension file number)
D.After keying in the pension file number
it will ask for your date of birth. This cannot be keyed
in but from the calendar, you should spot it.
E.The calendar starts with JANUARY 1981.
F. There will be two arrows to move it left and right.
G.You should go back like Dec 1980, Nov. 1980
using the top left arrow, etc till your DOB month
and year is seen. Once the month and year tallies,
touch the date and the DOB will be posted.
H. We should furnish our mobile number our mail id
for receiving a OTP.
I. After the OTP is posted, your photo will be taken.
J. It will ask for AAdhar number and once it is given
further process will go on.
k As we move on as directed, the Certificate will be
generated and sent to LIC office from whom we will
a confirmation SMS.
Since the app will be on our mobile we can open
with the MPIN number and view the certificate.
Enclosed is the certificate generated by me.
It appears to be easier.
Please find enclosed the existence certificate
format for those who want to send the existence
certificate in physical form.
