ON PENSIONERS' HAND BOOK
A MESSAGE FROM SRI G.N.SRIDHARAN.
I am thankful to the Pensioners who found the handbook compiled by me and Shri CT Joshi an useful reference material. It is a matter of gratification that nearly 1100 copies of the first two editions got distributed.
For cretain valid reasons ,mostly personal, I decided against going for a third re-print.At this stage three of my local enthusiasts came forward to take the responsibility of sponsoring the the third edition ,based on their genuine expectation that the demand for the book will grow among the pensioners community .
Another edition was therefore secured some ten days back.True to the expectations of my friends about 160 copies have since been taken by two centres including Mumbai and hence about 350 copies are still available for distribution. It is assumed that that the representatives of Pensioners' Assns/ organisation who had already taken bulk copies may require additional copies for their members who might not have got it out of the earlier lot.Besides ,there may be others in places with no organisational representatives available but would like to have copies. It is therefore requested that indents for additional or first time requirements may kindly be sent to any of the following two volunteers in case copies are sought in lots of minimum 5 copies .
1) Shri VR Krishnan ( Email : vrkrishnan46@gmail.com
Mob : 9840932943)
2) Shri M Arunachalam(arunachalam.m9@gmail.com
Mob:9840869758)
I confirm that the cost of the book will continue to be Rs.100/- on bulk consignments of min.5 books and above
to be sent to a SINGLE address ,without any loading for expenses for packing/postage/courier etc. Single copy to be sent to indivduals will cost Rs.125/- including postage courier charges etc.Individual requests can also be sent to me in addition to the above mentioned two friends.Payments may be made after receiving the books and mode of payment will be advised when they are despatched.
I appeal to all pensioners to extend their cooperation in our completing this job undertaken by us Pggfor the benefit of the entire community of LIC Pensioners of all classes irrespective of their affiliation to any of the representative organisations in operation.
With my Greetings to all,
-- GN Sridharan
