S,C,Kapoor passes away. GNS informs.

I received late last night a personal message from shri S. Srivastav Dir (per) conveying to me the sad news of the demise of Shri. SC kapoor at Mumbai yesterday.

Shri. kapoor's services to the causes of officers in service or retiremement was exemplary .His dedication to our cause and the interest he used to take on the smooth functioning of our organisation was unparalleled . Though he had withdrawn from active involvement in our activities during the last few years due to failing health, I had the privelege of visiting him during my trips to Mumbai and I will always cherish memories of the hospitality I used to receive every time. An unassuming person with an uncanny knack of dealing with men and matters he never aspired for any position In our organisation. His demise has indeed caused a vaccum.

May his soul rest in peace.
