A JOURNEY TOWARDS TRUTH, PEACE .

Friends, It is with deep regret that we have to convey the message of passing away of Shri D.S.Narain, yesterday (30-11-2019) morning by 7.30. A perfectionist and disciplinarian, a Sai Devotee,  Shri Narain born on 29-11-1938,  passed away completing exactly 81 years.  I was AO in the ZM secretariat during 1995 for a short period and  I had the opportunity to learn a lot of basic discipline (both personal and official)  His remarkable memory was his big asset. He would remember almost all the names of even the branches in charge in the zone, about 259. The speed with which he would dispose off the files was his another trait.   He used to telephone and inquire about our activities. Immediately after our AGM on 5-05-2019,  I met him at his residence.  He was talking enthusiastically about the court case and felt sorry that he could not attend the AGM due to health reasons.  He was one of the earliest to send the Memorandum to Chairman, as per the direction of the Federation.

Ecircular No.DK/91A --                                      26-11-2019 Friends, I understand from reliable sources that our Case, listed for Hearing today, has been adjourned to 5th of Feb 2020. This delay could not be avoided because the notice came too late in the day , for us to attempt anything serious. Let us hope that at least on the 5th we do get the quality time, to show meaningful progress. Yes, many in our community of the Retired, may exit this world meanwhile, but when matters go to Court, this becomes an inevitable casualty. We do not have details as to when and how this adjournment was decided upon by the Court. As and when we do get complete information, we shall get back to you.
