A veteren is grateful to Federation.

I am immensely grateful to you all for having greatly honored me in the impressive GB meeting held on 13/5/17 for my having crossed my 75 years of age. N V Subbaraman Note: Along with Sri N.V.Subbaraman, around 15 elderly pensioners who have crossed 75 years were also honoured by our Federation. The Chief Guest of the Function Sri R.Thamodaran, Zonal Manager of our Southern Zone felicitated each of them and wished every one of them well.  You  see the list of elderly pensioners felicitated in the PAGES column.

RETIRED LIC CLASS1 OFFICERS' ASSOCIATION-  CHENNAI Abstract of the proceedings of the Annual General Meeting held                                         On 13th May 2017- ------------------------------ ------------------------------ ------                     As scheduled the AGM of our Association was held at Hotel Palmgrove on Saturday the 13th May 2017. The meeting was attended by more than hundred members with the President Shri GN Sridharan in the chair.                         The president welcomed the members present and briefly referred to the status of the litigation on pensioners'.      issues particularly with reference to the latest judgement of the Delhi HC.                        The secretary shri PA Sivakumaran presented his Report on the activities of the Assn during the last one year and spoke on the important subjects dealt with in his report. I shall try and capture a few points here. They are more or less the same as those I mentioned in the Meeting Yesterday. Why nine months?

Someone was asking yesterday as to why NINE months are given ? You don't know indeed ? I enquired him.  Yes. ..my friend confessed. It was perhaps a conscious decision. You need full nine months to understand what exactly is said there.
