  THIS EDITOR HAS JUST RECEIVED A COPY OF THE HANDBOOK.   THIS HANDBOOK BRINGS A LOT OF DATA, RIGHT FROM THE DAY WHEN PENSION WAS INTRODUCED BY LIC OF INDIA TO ALL THE PENSIONERS, OF COURSE, GIVING AN OPTION TO JOIN THE SCHEME.  THE ARTICLES UNDER THE PENSION RULES STAND UPDATED TILL DATE .  HOW THE PENSION, FAMILY PENSION IS CALCULATED, THE VARIOUS SCALES OF PAY FOR ALL THE CADRES FROM CLASS 1 TO 4 ARE ALL NARRATED FULLY. A VERY USEFUL HANDBOOK FOR ALL THE LIC PENSIONERS.  ONE WOULD HAVE EXPECTED A GLIMPSE ON THE COURT CASES OUR FEDERATION HAS FILED IN VARIOUS COURTS, NOW LYING WITH THE SUPREME COURT.  THE EDITOR CONSOLES HIMSELF, THAT IF GNS SIR HAD DECIDED TO LEAVE THOSE BULKY DOCUMENTS WHICH MAY RUN INTO SOME THOUSANDS OF PAGES, THERE SHOULD BE SOME GOOD REASON.   WE WISH THAT EVERY PENSIONER GETS THIS HANDBOOK SOONER THAN LATER.  LET US SEE WHETHER THE PENSIONERS GET THIS BOOK FIRST OR THE VACCINE FOR THE CORONO VIRUS.  EDITOR ...
