Sri G.Chellappa, Retd from Zo, Chennai is no more. GN Sridharan condoles. May his soul rest in peace.

Friends, It is with deep regret that we have belatedly come to know of the demise of yet another loyal member of our organisation. Shri G Chellappa, aged 78, Membership no.146,  retd from ZO expired on Friday 15 th   of this month following  kidney ailment. Shri. Chellappa's demise is indeed a great personal loss for me as he was among a few of our erstwhile colleagues whom I could meet very frequently. During almost every week end till Dec 2019 both of us used to meet and talk for at least a few minutes at the market place near Mylapore tank.I will always remain grateful to him for his genuine appreciation for the  organisational efforts for pensioners' causes in general and my personal roles in that behalf. In his demise we have lost a gem of a person known for his humility and  simplicity. Shri Chellappa leaves behind his beloved wife  besides a son and a daughter both of whom were stationed out of Chennai. We are sad to know that because the cur...
