Co-ordination meeting between Federation of Retired LIC Class I Officers’ Associations and All India Retired Insurance Employees’ Federation at Bangalore on 5 th Oct 2017 The meeting of the representatives of the two organizations was held today. This is the 2 nd one in Bengalore after the one informal meeting in Delhi in May 2017. The discussion centred on the conduct of the ongoing SLPs in Supreme Court. It was felt that separate SLPs by Shri Asthana, Hyderabad & Panchakula being posted for different dates, nothing significant can be expected to happen at the forthcoming hearing on 13/10/2017. It was strongly advocated that our two organizations should stress on Interim Relief at the above hearing since there is bound to be a long gap before further hearing if SLPs are converted into regular Civil Appeals.
