MYTHILI SHARAN GUPTH POEMS OF MYTHILI SHARAN GUPTH ARE FOR ME SOME SORT OF GLUCOSE SALINE, INFUSING INTO MY VEINS HOPES AND REASSURANCES. THIS POEM I READ WAY  BACK IN

Flash News

flash news from GN Sridharan Re: our WP 184/2007        In the context of unwarranted comments by certain quarters  regarding the non availability of our amended WP in the court records  during the previous hearings it is necessary that we convey following flash news received from our counsel today.      The amended writ filed by us was listed today (8/8) before the  bench of justice Sanjeev Khanna. The court accepted it and our counsel who was present was again  directed to file our rejoinder to LIC's counter which had already been  filed.the court also repeated its earlier direction that we may file  also our reply to the affidavit of LIC in regard to compliance of SC  order on payment of Interim relief.  We may add that that this episode was caused only due to a mix up at  the court Registry. And it is hoped that there may not be any more  comments.   We are now in touch with our counsels for filing the required papers .With Greetings - GNSridharan  Gen secy  F

Proceedings in Delhi HC today 4th August 2016

From Sridharan G.N 4:52 PM  Re  Proceedings in Delhi HC today, the 4th August. Our amended WP no 184/2007 came up  today as scheduled.  We were represented by our Sr. Counsel Shri Rakesh Khanna besides our Advocates on record. All the members of the Legal Committee were present in the Court.  We may inform our members that just on the eve of the hearing LIC had filed on 2/8/16 their counter to our petition taking, as expected, many untenable stands like stating that DS Nakara's case was relevant only for Govt pensioners . Even during the discussions we had with our Sr. Counsel last evening he was of the firm view that we should file a rejoinder. The affidavit of compliance on payment of 40% IR also came up for discussion. During initial part of the proceedings, the Additional SG appearing for UOI stated that similar provisions like 3A exist in other pension schemes also and matter of constitutional validity has to be ad

THE NUMBER 3 THEN AND NOW.

THE NUMBER 3 APPEARS TO HAVE A DIVINE SCHEME OF THINGS. APART FROM TRIMURTHI, BRHMA, VISHNU AND SHIVA IT ALSO THREE WORLDS  THIS BHOOMI, SWARGA AND PAATHALA. BACK TO MUNDANE THINGS, THE 3 LETTERS ALSO SIGNIFY   न  का  रा  THE THREE LETTERS WE WISH COME TO LIFE ONCE AGAIN AND SEE THE LIGHT OF THE DAY.  AT LEAST CATCH THE ATTENTION OF THE SITTING JUDGES . AGAIN, IT IS THE SAME 3 WHICH IS REFERRED TO DELHI HC TO DECIDE ON ITS CONSTITUTIONAL VALIDITY.  IN VAAMANA YUGA, WE ARE TOLD,  VISHNU TAKING THE SIZE AND SHAPE OF A DWARF MAN, ASKED FOR 3 FEET.  The King did not actually know what that 3 stood for  But having assured the short man before him the "3" he asked for, the king would not go back on his promise.  HE IS ASKING FOR JUST THREE PACES OF LAND.

Put that glass down

Two years ago, if I remember correctly, my good friend Sri T.R.Madhava Rao sent me this story, through an email.  Today, as I read this story once again, i find  the values you  draw from the story are more relevant and significant than ever. Thanks a lot Mr.Madhava Rao. You have made your colleagues think hard. And possibly that is the only option on hand. The Glass of Water   A professor began his class by holding up a glass with some water in it. He held it up for all to see, and asked the students:  “ How much do you think this glass weighs? ” ’ 50 ml! ’….. ’ 100 ml !’ …..’ 125 ml ’, guessed the students. “ I really don’t know unless I weigh it, ” said the professor, “ but, my question is:What would happen if I held it up like this for a few minutes? "  And he stretched out his hand, holding the glass, up over his head. ‘ Nothing .’ the students said. ‘ Ok, what would happen if I held it up like this for an hour

Silence is a source of great strength.

(Courtesy: jaishreeblog.blogspot.in) *********************************************************************** Noise is so much a part of our life that we have become dependant on it.  We are driven to distraction by almost everything.  We are constantly asked to give up silence in exchange for constant chatter- background music or talking, traffic noises, social media pinging our phones and who feel uncomfortable or scared when they have to confront real silence. To find peace, everyone says go into silence. “Silence is a source of great strength.” ~Lao Tzu Guru Dhakshinamurthy KNOWLEDGE THRO' SILENCE.    In this communicative silence, Someone Says; Speech is silver, Silence is gold...  Silence is ever speaking; It is the perennial flow of "language."  It is interrupted by speaking; for words obstruct this mute language. Silence is permanent and benefits the whole of humanity. .  By silence, eloquence is meant. It is the best language. T
