Dear shri Gopalakrishnan.,  Shri Sury has forwarded a copy sent by you of a circular issued by our Bangalore unit confirming that our fedn's counsels did not speak about extension of time at the last hearing on 8/12. It is timely and my compliments to all our activists at Bangalore. I have also posted a confirmation on this in RK Sahni's blog today. Besides I have also sent by post a long note under the caption 'year end musings' to m/s Ravindran 'TKS & Rajagopalan dealing with mischievous and wnwarranted writings by certain people on court proceedings.  I have requested shri Sury to carry it in his blog  tomorrow . Thanks again and with best wishes for a happy New Year -2017 Regds.- GNSridharan

AMMA IS NO MORE. OUR HEART FELT CONDOLENCES.

MESSAGE FROM G N SRIDHARAN. OUR HON'BLE CHIEF MINISTER MADAM J.  JAYALALITHAA IS NO MORE I am sorry  to report to our members the sad demise of  Ms. J Jayalalalithaa the chief minister of my home state of T N  last evening.. She was a courageous leader with a mass following. On behalf of our organisation, I extend our condolences to her followers and join them in their prayers for her soul to rest in peace. Due to  the tension following the intensive final stage treatment for her in the hospital commercial establishments were not functioning in the city to regular timings for the past couple of days. Besides I was also slightly indisposed after my return from Delhi on 30th ultimo with the result the finalisation of my report on the proceedings of the EC meeting held at Thrissur on 28/11 got delayed. I however hope to despatch the same in a couple of days.    GN Sridharan  Gen. Secy . Fedn of Retd  LIC Class1 officers' Assns.

COPY OF LETTER DATED 18.11.2016 ADDRESSED TO CHAIRMAN LIC OF INDIA DEAR SIR, Ref: Health care schemes for pensioners....Domiciliary Medical expenses. We thankfully record at the outset that the existing medicalim scheme proiding cover against hospitalisation is no doubt of immense assistance for the LIC pensioners especially with the present features of premium-subsidy and proision for floater coer.  IT IS HOWEVER A MATTER OF REGRET THAT OUR REPEATED REQUEST FOR RELIEF AGAINST INCREASING DOMICILIARY MEDICAL EXPENSES HAVE NOT EVOKED ANY RESPONSE FROM THE CORPORATION TILL DATE.
